As multiple award winners, we were delighted to be a finalist in the Woman Who Awards 2017 in the Export category. This category was sponsored by Arthur J Gallagher. The Woman Who Awards are run in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). Last year, we won the Startup category in our first year in business. By becoming finalists for an export award, we have demonstrated the development of our business in the last 12 months to support international clients by delivering abroad.
Jude and Emma ditched jeans and boots for dresses and heels at a prestigious awards lunch for over 250 people on Friday 5th May 2017. Trish Adudu from BBC radio interviewed us on the day too.
People often ask us if we transport the horses abroad. The short answer is no! Instead, we partner with local people to source horses, venues, catering, etc. A lot of work goes into planning an international workshop and we have to raise our own game as we work with horses we have never met before.
This award recognises the support that we have had from a wider team – our yard manager who cares for the horses whilst we are away, our partners in various countries and the horses who willingly work with us.
We stretch our leadership to grow our business and being a finalist for the Export category of Woman Who Awards honours our success and commitment to growing a global business. We have now been finalists or winners of five awards in two years of running our business. Here’s to the next one!
